Purple Short Branch Montipora

Montipora – This SPS coral is hardier and easier to keep than the similar Acropora coral, but has similar elegant branching shape and beautiful color. These specimens are cultured and not taken from the reef.

Montipora need moderate to high lighting and moderate to high water flow. It’s necessary to maintain stable alkalinity, calcium, magnesium, and trace elements. Be sure to acclimate new coral to bright lighting slowly and carefully.
