Biota Palau Pocillopora

Pocillopora sp. – These Pocillopora are sexually reproduced in captivity at our Biota Palau facility. This species is very hardy for a small polyp stony coral and is a great beginner coral for aquarists wanting to get started with SPS corals.

Pocillopora need moderate to high lighting and moderate to high water flow. It’s necessary to maintain stable alkalinity, calcium, magnesium, and trace elements such as potassium. These fragments are grown under EcoTech Radion and Philips Coral Care lights. We use and recommend Easy Reefs Easy Booster and Easy SPS coral food.
