Biota Christmas Favites

Favites sp. – The Biota Christmas Favites is aquacultured in our Florida facility. Favites is a type of large polyp stony coral that will benefit from stable alkalinity, calcium, magnesium, and trace elements in the water. It prefers moderate water flow and light, and it does well in the lower sections of well-lit tanks. 

This hardy species is a good choice for beginners who have a stable environment and water parameters. This coral will quickly encrust over any rock or adjacent surface.
